I never know how to sum myself up in words.
I’m 22. A psychology student, aiming to work with children and young people. Currently working for a government community agency with disadvantaged children aged 7-17.
Things that I enjoy: reading, horror films, painting my nails, playing with my kitten, sitting in the garden, drinking tea with friends, painting, advocating for young people’s health… and a million more.
I’m learning to see the beauty in everyday and to live in the moment, experiencing everything there is to experience in the here and now. I’m prone to wanting to do and see everything right now, and I tend to forget that I have a whole lifetime ahead of me. I want to live a life that means something and makes a difference.
“Listen – I want to run all my life, screaming at the top of my lungs. Let all of life be an unfettered howl. Like the crowd greeting the gladiator. Don’t stop to think, don’t interrupt the scream, exhale, release life’s rapture. Everything is blooming. Everything is flying. Everything is screaming, choking on its screams. Laughter. Running. Let down hair. This is what there is to life”
– Vladimir Nabokov
